Dear Praying Friends and Supporting Churches,

Thank you for your faithful support and prayers.  Each time I sit down to write a new report, I am reminded of the blessing it is to be part of God’s work.  I hope all is well with each of you, and that you are prospering in the ministries God has entrusted to you. 

The work here continues moving forward.  We are passing out hundreds of tracts and cards each week.  We are receiving some positive feedback but are continuing to consider improvements to our website that would lead to further engagement.  This past month I have run into several of the men that regularly attended our Sunday community lunch and I now have a better idea of where they are staying/ hanging around.  They were all glad to see me, but none of them seemed interested in studying the Bible.  Please continue to pray for open doors and for wisdom in reaching out with the Gospel.

Thank you all for praying for Sarah’s knee surgery.  The procedure went as planned.  Sarah was able to return home the same day.  Her recovery is going well.  She has a good physical therapist and is walking without crutches.  The recovery process is somewhat painful (as you might imagine), but Sarah is bearing it well.  I am also working with a physical therapist to resolve some nerve pain in my neck.  I would appreciate your prayers for resolution of the pain as well as opportunities to share the gospel with my therapist. 

We continue to press forward in the work here, while at the same time recognizing that it has been nearly five years since we have reported to most of our supporting churches.  We are planning to make a trip back to the States this summer for this purpose.  We also want to help Elijah transition to life in Edmond, where he intends to start college in the 2024 spring semester. We plan on arriving this June and hope to report to and visit as many churches as possible before leaving early in 2024.  Please let me know if you would like us to come by while we are there.  I will begin trying to build a schedule soon and will try to work around specific dates if you let me know.  Please pray for the planning details.
